The ONSSA has drawn up three codes of procedure for the control of clavelee and catarrhal fever through voluntary vaccination, as well as for the accession to the programme for the improvement of cattle holdings with regard to tuberculosis and bovine brucellosis.
These codes are based on a voluntary and synergistic approach to the national strategy for the fight against these Legally Contagious Diseases (MRLC). They also make it possible to respond to the many requests from breeders’ groups and to the complaints of breeders who wish to set up preventive programmes for the control of these diseases, in particular large flocks and sheep fattening workshops.
