As part of the 18th edition of World Rabies Day, the Regional Directorate of ONSSA in Casablanca-Settat, in collaboration with the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF), organized an awareness day on November 8, 2024, at the Ouled Haret School in Sidi Hajjaj, in the province of Médiouna.
This initiative aimed to inform students in rural areas about ways to prevent rabies, through workshops and interactive activities, covering the health risks related to animal rabies, the symptoms of contamination, the preventive measures to adopt, and the importance of vaccinating dogs to control this disease.
