The Director General of ONSSA received a Spanish delegation on Thursday, October 24, 2024, led by the Director General of Agro-food Production, Animal Health, and Welfare from the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture.
This bilateral meeting took place within the framework of the memorandum of understanding between Morocco and Spain, which focuses on cooperation in sanitary, phytosanitary, and agricultural sector development, signed in Rabat on February 2, 2023.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Ben Guerir, where both parties discussed and exchanged views on sanitary and phytosanitary issues of mutual interest.
On the sidelines of this meeting, the Spanish delegation was given a tour of the university and its various research centers, with explanations and presentations provided throughout the visit.
