Procedure for granting health authorization or approval
Establishments and undertakings in the food sector of Plant and Plant Products must be approved and/or authorised by ONSSA in accordance with the provisions of the following laws and regulations:
Decree no. 2-10-473 made for the application of certain provisions of law 28-07,
Decree no. 2768-12 of 1 August 2012 fixing the activity code and the prefecture or province code
Order no. 244-13 of 16 January 2013 on health authorisation and approval
The issue of the authorization or health approval shall give rise to the award of an approval or health authorization number. In order to be approved or authorised in terms of health, operators of food establishments and undertakings in the PVOV must complete the application for approval and/or authorisationsanitary Application form: PDF and file it with the Plant and Plant Product Control Service (PVCPS) of the province where the establishment is located.
Each application for approval or health authorization must be accompanied by a dossier comprising an administrative and a technical part The procedures for issuing, suspending and withdrawing approval and health authorization are set out in the Code of Procedure for the granting, suspending and withdrawing approval and health authorization.
