The National Office of Sanitary Safety of Food Products (ONSSA) welcomed, Tuesday, September 08, 2015, an Indonesian delegation, the “National Agency Of Drug And Food Control (NADFC), represented by its Director General, Dr. Roy A. Sparringa and by His Excellency Mr. Syarief Syamsuri, Ambassador of Indonesia in Rabat. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss a possible partnership between the two counterpart structures, in particular through the establishment of a protocol which will define the main areas of cooperation and the terms of exchanges.

Subsequently, the Indonesian delegation took part in a Moroccan-Indonesian meeting organized by the CGEM (General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises) in Casablanca, on the safety of food products and medicines. Took part in this meeting, Indonesian and Moroccan professionals as well as ONSSA and IMANOR (Moroccan Institute for Standardization).

During this forum, Mr. Ahmed Bentouhami, Director General of ONSSA confirmed his willingness to cooperate with his Indonesian counterpart and the availability of the Office to support professionals, particularly on sanitary and phytosanitary issues related to trade. between the two countries.
